peru: machu picchu

few experiences can compare to watching the sunrise over the mountains of machu picchu... there is an energy about the place that is almost impossible to describe. photos do not even begin to do it justice.

peru: swimming with the sea lions

our first day in lima was full of adventure... we weren't planning on getting up close and personal with sea lions, but when the opportunity arises who are we to say no? the most amazing thing was seeing the lumbering creatures look so clumsy on land and so graceful below the water. it was an awesome experience.
