broccoli crunch salad

For our family Easter gathering this year I decided to bring broccoli crunch salad made from a 101 Cookbooks recipe. I dare say it was a hit! Next time however, I will follow the instructions a little more closely and not dress the salad until just before it is served. Some of the "crunch" may have lost its punch on the car ride over!

*Do you have any recipes you'd like to share? I'm always on the lookout for new additions to my {very limited} repertoire!

    Ahhh pan-fried shallots! Mmm, I couldn't think of a better way to add crunch (I'm a sucker for anything onion-y). It looks absolutely delicious!

    This sounds so yummy, Breezy! :) And I have to say that I was kind of surprised to think that, given that I don't absolutely love broccoli! This kiddo is giving me cravings for all kinds of fresh foods! :)

    what a perfect Easter dish- looks delic.
    We always have a broccoli salad for Easter, but ours has grapes and a creamy dressing.

    YUM. I really like the broccoli crunch salad at Whole Foods but don't want to spend an arm and a leg. I'm going to have to try this - can't wait for the next BBQ potluck!
