I have been considering jumping on the Pinterest bandwagon for quite a while now... but I keep wondering if I really need another outlet for wandering {wasting time on} the internets. I can already tell that it is going to be seriously addicting. So tell me, do you pin?
**Update: I took the plunge and I absolutely love it. My user name is iheartkiwi if you care to follow along!
You're an evil woman. I had no idea what "Pintrest" was...now I'm hooked (or pinned?).. I don't need MORE distractions...aaahhhh...oooo shiny things. Great site!
ReplyDeletedooo it. its fun :) and not that distracting. well. sometimes... xoxo jillian:: cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteIt's so fun but also very addicting. So many inspirational things on there!
ReplyDeleteI don't pin YET, but I've considered it quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteYou do it first---tell me how it goes. ;)
So, you know I got Christy started on it last week. I have to say, it was super-addicting for the first few days, and now it is a lot easier to just check in on every once in awhile. And, I know that this is sacrireligious to say to a blogger, but I do feel like it is taking less of my time than following tons of blogs . . . Love ya!
ReplyDeleteTotally understand. I have a strict no twitter policy for myself. I am however also considering pinterest...
ReplyDeleteOh I pin, and it's fun. But I'm not addicted - I may not even fully understand it which might be why I'm not addicted. But I think I'm better off that way.
ReplyDeleteDO IT.
ReplyDeleteit took me awhile to get into it. but it's actually a nice way to remember to save things you like.
unless you like having a zillion random things in your bookmarks. (note to self: fix that)
I've resisted-I think it would only further my internet preoccupation, and who needs that?!
ReplyDeletei love it!! it really doesn't waste time for me...it just organizes all my internet lusting over clothes, food, decor, etc. it's great for finding that image you loved 6 months ago...
ReplyDeleteI do it and love it! such a good way to storage all those great blog finds ;) join in and I'll follow your pins!!
ReplyDeleteI've been debating the same thing all week. Much like yourself though, I worry about the possibility of addiction. It would be a great way to organize inspiration for blogging though :)

I love it! It actually simplifies my life. I write notes, send myself emails and make folders for all the cool hunting I do. Now, I can keep it all in one place with pinterest. It makes it so easy to store ideas and inspiration.
ReplyDeleteaaah..... was wondering what was it. now? love it!
ReplyDeleteWe do pin at the Short and the Sweet of It, but it is hard to keep up with, that's for sure!

Totally, totally, 100% addictive - so much fun.
ReplyDeleteI so pin! I recommend it!!!! Even if you don't do a lot of pinning yourself (I don't really), it's so great to log on every now and then and see pages and pages of eye candy!!!
ReplyDeletei pin! it's fun. and not only a time-eater-upper. it can be helpful for organizing blog posts about certain trends or whatevs. it's a great way to catalogue images! choose wisely. once you do, there's no turning back!! :) <3 EverRubyGirl.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI am in the exact same boat. So tough to decide whether or not to join! Let me know if you do so I can get some further pursuasion :) hehe xo
ReplyDeleteI would say JOIN!!! I spend less than a half hour on it a week... so I wouldn't say it's addicting. It is a great way to save and categorize images for future reference!
ReplyDeletethis is a new one for me - maybe a post about how it works?
ReplyDeleteI do. I love the site. It makes me feel more mentally organized.
