Well kids, it's shaping up to be a busy week! Kiwi and I were invited to his cousin's wedding in Paris this weekend so we decided to be spontaneous and booked a couple of last minute tickets. We leave on Thursday and arrive home late Sunday night. Talk about a whirlwind trip! So my question is this... If you had one weekend to spend in Paris what would you do? I'd love to hear your suggestions and recommendations!
*Kiwi and I spent two weeks in Paris for our honeymoon back in 2009... You can see the photos here if you'd like!
Oh, so jealous. I can't give you any advice because I"ve never been.
ReplyDeleteJust know that I'm jealous. :)
You're going to have such a blast! And that board is so very Parisian :)
ReplyDeleteholy jetleg, but how romantic to get on a last minute flight to Paris! With international travel I always keep my outfits simple and bring things that will pair well together and can be layered.
ReplyDeleteWHAT?! Jealous! I hope you have the most wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky. I'd try to enjoy the little things probably. The things that the locals love instead of trying to fit in all the touristy stuff. But who am I to talk?? I've never been!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this packing list, and the idea of a whirlwind trip to Paris-ee!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness, it does not get more romantic than a spontaneous trip to paris to watch a couple in love tie the knot! if it were me, i would spend the whole time strolling the streets and parks and eating as much cheese as my poor gi tract would allow! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh lala ! Good on you. (Just came back from there) You will have a blast. Great packing too. I am a useless packer (despite being a backpacker for many years) and eventually had to buy myself a carry-on bag. Still didn't wear all that I packed. My big problem is finding comfy shoes to walk all day in...Have a fab time!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, lucky girl! Have an amazing time! I'm going to check our your photos right now :)

ReplyDeleteCheers to spontaneity! I hope you have a lovely time, and I am sure that his cousin will appreciate it so much. If I had one weekend, I would stuff myself full of chocolate croissants. : )
