I recently made my first foray into post spending hiatus shopping. Christy and I headed to Fashion Square to see what they had to offer. Overall, I think I did pretty well... I scored this sweet little cardigan from J. Crew and this comfy hoodie from Anthropologie. The best part is they were both on sale! *I really stuck to my guns and didn't buy anything that I didn't absolutely love. If something didn't fit just right or the quality looked poor I put it back on the rack and walked away. It felt great.

ReplyDeleteSo I'm glad to see that you've posted about Anthropologie twice in the last few weeks. I used to be obsessed with the place, back when I wasn't in school and served tables full time, but I've completely avoided it since taking on a much tighter budget. So recently, now that I'm in dire need of a shopping spree, I haven't been able to decide whether or not they're still selling cool stuff. I've now concluded, they most definitely are. THanks! I know where my next paycheck is going. Cute stuff girlie! (Sorry this comment is so long!)

It really feels great to have control over the shopping urge. That cardigan is so pretty. Last night I was at H&M trying out some stuff but I didn't buy any. I thought twice or three times before I decide if I really want them.

ReplyDeletein genereal, i hardly ever settle with anything less than a great fit and good quality when i shop...i tend to treasure my clothes and keep them for a long time!
I'm on a self-imposed spending hiatus, and it is sooooo hard!! I'm really trying to buy a few quality things I really love instead of cheap impulse buys. Seeing lovely things like this lets me know it will be worth the wait :)
