Over the weekend Kiwi and I got together with a few friends for a little wine and cheese party. Kiwi ordered artisan salamis from Creminelli and gourmet cheeses from Beehive. We had so much fun trying out different pairings. I loved the salami tartufo {made with black truffles} and the espresso and lavender rubbed cheese. We sat out on the back patio eating and drinking to our hearts' content. What did you do this weekend?
*For tips on putting together the perfect antipasto plate check out this interesting article from Creminelli.

ReplyDeletesuch a good threesome. good thing i am going to a wine bar with girlfriends tonight or I would have to stop and buy all three to eat by myself...
ReplyDeleteI easily take for granted living in wine country! I'm surrounded by grapes and vines and hardly go out for tastings anymore - only when friends/family visit. I should change that....and I'll actually be pouring at one this weekend and maybe more weekends to come.
ReplyDeletesounds like a lovely time! wine and cheese...yumm

Wow. Being that I am Italian, I just gravitate towards sharp cheeses, salty salamis and yummy red wines. Love, love this shot!
